The Kirka River provides an inland waterway to Split, on the Adriatic. To reach the falls, we travelled by boat 20 minutes up the river from Skradin though scenery reminescent of the American West. In fact, Italian and German "Spaghetti Westerns" were filmed here in Croatia. Skradinski Buk waterfall, a multitiered cascade, is just beautiful to watch and enjoy!
We caught the car ferry from Split to the island of Vis. On the two hour trip, we enjoyed the sailboats, seagulls and sunset as Split disappeared in the distance.
