Nestled in a park of manicured trees and flowers, Vila Bled was Tito's summer residence where he entertained dignitaries from around the world. With travertine floor to ceiling, fresh flowers, and red carpets, the villa is furnished in the 1950's style with many of Tito's personal items. You can sit at his desk and send a post or marvel at the social realist mural painted in the conference room. The service here was personal and impeccable, and our meal on the patio overlooking the lake was fantastic. We hate to leave!
